Green chile stew!! Thank you New Mexican comfort food gods for green chile stew!! A few weeks back I got a care package from home with cans of green chile in it! It was wonderful! Tonight, I used one of those cans to make green chile stew for myself and a friend. I felt so at home. I felt so comforted. My whole body was warm and my already high spirits were lifted. I just love the food from home and I am missing it so much! So, today I am thankful for something so normal, something so yummy, something so home, and something so simple as green chile stew!
